Sofia _ The Belgian Etex group company is ready to invest more than 100 million euros in building a construction material factory in Bulgaria, local Darik radio reported.

The company representatives will arrive in Bulgaria early next week in order to look for a suitable investment site. They will examine around ten possible locations in 10 cities including Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vidin, Plovdiv, Gorna Oryahovica, and Sevlievo.

The Etex Group's first investment will be a storage facility for construction materials worth 20 million euros. At a later stage, it plans to construct a factory valued at about 100 million euros.

The Etex Group specializes in manufacturing and marketing of construction materials. It has 90 subsidiaries in 41 countries, and employs 12,500 workers.
