If the local economy does not come out of recession soon, the banks that have so far been stabile will start to pay the price, experts say for the daily. Macedonia this year had a negative outlook for three consecutive quarters.

The economic and social changes, especially in the past two decades, directly influenced the demographic trends in the country. On one hand, there are less newborns which reduces the number of young people. On other hand the number of people over 60 years is increasing.




The issue of national identity is taken seriously by Balkan people – including the least serious among them.
