Human Rights Film Festival Starts in Zagreb

The festival will feature about 20 films, many of which have been awarded prizes at film festival worldwide. The films will be screened both at Zagreb's Europa Cinema and at the Croatia Art Cinema in the northern Adriatic city of Rijeka.
The festival will open with the documentary "Susret" (Encounter) by Croatian director Igor Bezinovic and the French feature film "White Material" by Claire Denis.
Among the films to be shown are the Chinese film "Complaint", the American film "The Yes Men Fix the World", the French-Iranian film "Women without Men", the Israeli film "The Food Chain" and the Ethiopian film "Teza".




Radovan Karadzic, Sarajevo is not your city, and you have no right to say that it is, just as you do not have the right to say in public, even if it’s in court, that someone has dug up bones around Bosnia and brought them to Srebrenica to make a fake graveyard. This is insulting.
