Peacekeeper Found Dead in Bosnian Barracks

“Initial indications suggest that there are no suspicious circumstances and the death was accidental,” EUFOR said in a press release.
It added that a further investigation will be launched to discover “the cause and the circumstances” of the death.
The soldier’s body was found on Sunday in his accommodation in Camp Butmir near Sarajevo. Officials did not release his name.
Some 190 Polish soldiers are deployed in Bosnia as part of a 2,000-member multinational peacekeeping force from 25 countries.




The issue of national identity is taken seriously by Balkan people – including the least serious among them.
