De-miner Killed in Bosnia

One deminer was killed and one seriously injured during mine removal operations in northern Bosnia on Thursday.
The accident happened in an area near the northern town of Doboj strewn with mines remaining from the country's 1992-95 war.
Bosnia is still one of the most mine contaminated countries in Europe with three fifths of its territory heavily infested with mines left over from the war.
According to official estimates the lives of 900,000 Bosnians remain endangered by left over mines.
To date Bosnia had registered 1,670 mine victims, including 96 deminers.
