Georgi Spasov, the first man of Demos, the freshly formed think composed of prominent Macedonian current and former politicians denies the speculations that Macedonian diplomat and former President of the United Nations General Assembly, Srgjan Kerim, is joining their ranks and that the intention is to turn Demos in to a political party.

The head if the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso yesterday was left without good news from Macedonia. After his meeting with Macedonia’s Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski he could only stress that there is a possibility for overcoming the name dispute if there is a political will for that between the two political leaders in Greece and Macedonia.




The issue of national identity is taken seriously by Balkan people – including the least serious among them.
