DNEVNIK

The Schengen wall fell. As of 19 December Macedonian citizens will be able to travel freely in 25 out of 27 EU member states excluding Great Britain and Ireland. The free travel applies to Norway, Switzerland and Island too.

UTRINSKI VESNIK

The swine flu has taken it’s forth victim in Macedonia. The 55-year old woman who fought for her life for 12 days at the Skopje Infectious Diseases Clinic has died. By later Monday there were 93 patients at the clinic, eight of which were newly admitted.

VREME

After 18 years of waiting, Europe finally opened its gates for Macedonian citizens. Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski joined the people celebrating in front of parliament.
