Vojvodina parliamentary Speaker Sandor Egeresi is glad that the draft of the province's Statute and draft law, which will provide the region of Vojvodina greater autonomy, are being discussed in the Serbian parliament. He however expressed disappointment over the discussion that has been led parliament on the issue so far.

President Boris Tadic met yesterday in Belgrade with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser al Mohammed al Ahmed al Sabah to improve their bilateral relations based on a long lasting friendship.

Belgrade University students continue to protest in the city as yesterday's talks with Serbia's government representatives failed on meeting criteria for enrolment of next year's studies.




It's a shame that the internet is a virtual medium, because there are a lot of people out there that I'd like to express my deep feelings of friendship to, and having spent the last two years here in Serbia, I'd like to do it in a truly Serbian way.
