Two activists of the main opposition party, the Social Democrats, SDSM from the small town of Resen were questioned by the police for spreading flyers criticising the work of the town mayor Mihajlo Volkanovski from the ruling coalition led by VMRO DPMNE. SDSM claims that this is a brutal violation of the democratic principles.
UTRINSKI VESNIK
Six newly infected swine flu patients were admitted yesterday into the infectious diseases clinic in Skopje. Panic increases s as the authorities try to calm the situation. By yesterday afternoon there have been some 50 swine flu patients hospitalized in the clinic.
VREME
The pressure for solving the Athens Skopje name row is intensifying. Although both sides remain silent, diplomats claim that there will be another meeting between the Macedonian and Greek Prime Ministers, Nikola Gruevski and George Papandreou very soon.




The issue of national identity is taken seriously by Balkan people – including the least serious among them.
