Romanian citizens abroad who wish to cast their vote in the presidential elections and the referendum on November 22 can go to one of the 294 polling stations in Romania's diplomatic missions or consular offices all over the
world. In order to exercise their right, the Romanian citizens must present valid identification.
FLACARA IASULUI
An interim report on Romania's presidential elections, developed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, found that the Romanian press provides too little coverage of the presidential candidates' programs
for the elections. According to the report, TV is the main source of political information.
CURIERUL NATIONAL
New car registrations in Romania dropped 62 per cent in the first ten months of 2009, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association. In the same period, new car registrations at the EU level decreased by 4.8 per cent. In October, the number of Dacia registrations in Europe increased by 19 per cent.




The issue of national identity is taken seriously by Balkan people – including the least serious among them.
