Asked whether he was afraid of being infected with the virus, Milinovic said he hoped that would not happen.
Tongue-in-cheeck, he also suggested a novel way to prevent swine flu. "I was with my family in Gospic last weakened and have had no symptoms for three days. I hope my immunity is much stronger than the flu. I was in a sauna on Monday. It is known viruses cannot survive in hot air. So, I suggest a sauna as a very good way to prevent the flu. "
Three people have so far died from swine flu in Croatia, two men in their 60s and a three-year-old girl.
There are around 2,500 people reported to be infected with the A/H1N1 virus in Croatia.




The issue of national identity is taken seriously by Balkan people – including the least serious among them.
