War Crimes Prosecutor in Serbia

Vukcevic stated after Wednesday's meeting with Brammertz that there was "a high degree of understanding achieved," Tanjug news agency reports.
Brammertz is visiting Belgrade on a two-day meeting in order to discuss Serbia’s cooperation with the ICTY, and gather information for his upcoming report to the UN Security Council.
The report is considered of crucial importance for Serbia's EU aspirations, as the Netherlands if blocking further progress until the remaining war crimes fugitives, Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic, are handed over.
According to the statement, which was issued after Vukcevic and Brammertz met, the two talked about improving regional cooperation. Vukcevic informed Brammertz that his office will open three new cases in the coming days.
The talks regarding the arrest of the two Hague fugitives were reportedly led in the headquarters of the Security Inteligence Agency, BIA.
During the second day of the visit, the ICTY Prosecutor is scheduled to meet with the country's top officials.
