President Boris Tadic announced yesterday that there is a possibility that Serbia will submit its application for the EU membership candidacy by the end of the year.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner says that his country supports Serbia on its EU path. He, however, believes that now is not the right time for Serbia to submit its EU membership application but hopes it will be soon, when the Interim Trade Agreement between Serbia and EU is unfrozen.
