Dodik Imposter Arrested in Serbia

Milorad Dodik
Police in Serbia have detained a man who posed as Republika Srpska Premier Milorad Dodik to solicit funds from individuals and firms in neighbouring countries.
Under his assumed identity, Petar Cvjetinovic “contacted naive people and companies to seek donations for medical treatment for his seriously ill friend", SRNA news agency reported, quoting police sources in Novi Sad.
"Unfortunately, this story often worked because of his strong resemblance to Dodik," the source told Srna, adding that Cvjetinovic operated in Croatia, Republika Srpska and Serbia.
Cvjetinovic, who was reportedly arrested in Novi Sad on Tuesday, faces charges of deceit and impersonation.
