Former Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, who resigned abruptly without any explanation in July, has a new job.

He will serve as a business consultant to Louise Blouin, a Canadian millionaire who is the CEO and President of Louise Blouin Media and the founder and chair of the Louise T. Blouin Foundation, the Croatian Times reports.

The Louise Blouin Foundation organises the Global Creative Leadership summit in New York.

Sanader's job will be to help the Foundation enhance its reputation in Europe.

It has not been disclosed how long Sanader will have his new job or how much he will be paid for his work.

Blouin told daily Vecernji list that Sanader had been engaged because he had numerous contacts in European business, political and art circles that would be useful to the foundation.

She said numerous European and US politicians, who took part in the Global Creative Leadership summit in New York in September, had said Sanader’s many years as prime minister would be useful to the foundation.

Blouin is said to be worth 260 million pounds (285 million euros).
