COTIDIANUL
The parliamentary committee investigating whether the recent allegations against Sports Minister Monica Ridzi are valid has decided that the case should be investigated by anti-graft prosecutors. Ridzi allegedly granted preferential contracts to several media companies.

The Professional Football League, LPF, has decided to demote football club FC Arges to the second league and has declared the club owner a persona non-grata following allegations of match fixing.
FINANCIARUL
Romania reported Lei 67.5 billion in budget revenues collected from taxes in the first half of the year, 2 per cent less than planned and 6 per cent down on the year, the tax authority has said.
