In February 1995, Bosnian Serb wartime general Ratko Mladic, the Hague Tribunal's most wanted war crimes suspect, wrote in his diary about his meeting with Branko Tupanjac at Moscow Hotel in Belgrade. Tupanjac is an American businessman of Serbian origin and one of the richest Serbs in the world.

NBS: New budget review possible. National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Radovan Jelasic says a new, 4th budget review will be needed by the end of the year if budget revenue continues to fall.

Balkans Summit on Cultural Heritage Held in Cetinje. A summit of presidents of countries of Southeastern Europe, entitled "Diversity of Cultural Heritage - Management and Tourist Promotion," was held in Cetinje, Montenegro on June 4, with the opening address given by Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic.

The European Commission is set to propose an end to the visa regime. The European Commission will propose the abolition of visas for Serbian, Macedonian and Montenegrin citizens by the end of the year, says EC Vice-President Jacques Barrot.
