It's a shame that the internet is a virtual medium, because there are a lot of people out there that I'd like to express my deep feelings of friendship to, and having spent the last two years here in Serbia, I'd like to do it in a truly Serbian way.
Thaci Hopes For Arab Recognitions

Kosovo PM Hashim Thaci
Thaci said this latest recognition reflected Kosovo's clear vision and diplomatic influence. He said the country's vision is based on implementing democratic reforms and integrating in the EU and NATO.
“We truly believe that the UAE’s recognition will encourage other Arab countries to do the same,” he said.
Thaci added that Kosovo will develop bilateral relations with the UAE, which is the first Arab country to recognize Kosovo.
Public opinion in Kosovo has been restive due to the lack of recognition from the Arab world, which shares the same religious heritage as Kosovo's majority population.
UAE recognition brought the number of states that have formally recognized Kosovo to 51.
