Bulgaria’s Lev ‘4th Most Beautiful Currency’

Sofia _ Bulgaria's currency, the lev, has been voted the fourth most beautiful globally at the annual meeting of the aesthetics commission of the International Financial Bank in Switzerland.

The experts evaluated over fifty currencies taking into account their aesthetic design as well as their solvency, the historical significance of the persons or sights depicted on the banknotes, and their durability.

The first three spots were occupied by the Ukrainian hryvnia, the Australian dollar, and the euro.

The Bulgaria lev was followed by the US dollar, which was ranked fifth.
