EU Troops Raid Bosnia Flat in Karadzic Hunt
| 15 July 2008 |
The search, carried out by EU peacekeeping forces, EUFOR, and supported by local police in the smaller Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska, was ordered by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, ICTY, media said.
During the raid, EUFOR seized documents and materials as clues in revealing the whereabouts of Radovan Karadzic, EUFOR said in its statement, saying it will continue to search for war crimes suspects until they all face justice.
Thirteen years after the wars in Bosnia and Croatia, three war crimes suspect still remain in hiding. Bosnian Serb wartime political and military leaders Radovan Karadzic and General Ratko Mladic, have been charged twice with genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Croatian Serb Goran Hadzic has been indicted for war crimes in Croatia.

Radovan Karadzic, Sarajevo is not your city, and you have no right to say that it is, just as you do not have the right to say in public, even if it’s in court, that someone has dug up bones around Bosnia and brought them to Srebrenica to make a fake graveyard. This is insulting.
