Pristina _ Kosovo will issue four kinds of passports as of July 21, the Interior Ministry confirmed Monday.

In a presentation by senior ministry officials, it was shown that Kosovo will have ordinary, diplomatic and official passports and travel documents as well.

“We prepared an information package that we will send to all the countries, informing them about our new passports, and the security details,” said interior minister Zenun Pajaziti.

Pajaziti added that the same package of information will be sent to countries that have not recognised Kosovo yet, “especially to the neighbouring countries.”

The new passports will contain 32 pages while citizens will wait for two weeks after applying before receiving the document.

Kosovo was been under United Nations administration until February 17, when the Parliament formally declared independence from Serbia.

Since 1999, Kosovars were using the UN-issued travel documents, instead of real passports. The documents, according to the Interior Ministry, will be valid until they expire, while Kosovars will not be able to extent these documents any more.

Once the UN travel documents expire and the Albanians are left with only Kosovo passports, I wonder how many countries they will be able to travel to. They can send all the information they want to the countries which have not recognized Kosovo but it will be in vain. Slovakia has already announced that they will not accept them. I'm sure many more countries will follow. The only way for Kosovo Albanians to travel will be to have Serbian passports. They are welcome everywhere.

Kosovo is an Internationally recognized state. The passports they issued will be valid in most of the democratic states warmly welcoming their independence.

Or they can travel on Albanian Passports

Or they can travel on Albanian Passports, like many of them do! There is no turning back to Serbia. If Serbia tries to isolate Kosovo, all it will achive is Kosovo integrating more and more with Albania.

Tim Burton’s latest film, Alice in Wonderland, is easily his most visually stunning yet, showing just how vividly the magic can be put on the big screen. Burton has lined a top-notch cast in front of a green wall allowing him to let his imagination fly, but limiting the actors’ opportunity to give vent to their expressions.
