Albania and Kosovo Strengthen Cooperation

“The signing of this [cooperation] memorandum is very important for the Albanian nation and for the region in general,” he added.
Both Prime Ministers praised Kosovo’s war of independence and the support it received from the international community.
Thaci underlined that the two leaders had agreed to strengthen cooperation in the energy, transportation and tourism fields.
“We have agreed to strongly cooperate in the energy field with the aim to solving the problems we are facing,” said Thaci.
“Both governments are looking at the possibility to build thermal power plant in Kosovo, where Albania could be a stakeholder,” Thaci added.




The issue of national identity is taken seriously by Balkan people – including the least serious among them.
