Hospitals in Croatia's capital, Zagreb, owe close to 18 million kunas or €2.4 million Euros, the latest report from the city's department of health shows.
The report, which covers the last six months, shows that many health institutions in Croatia’s capital have been operating at a loss, daily Vecernji List writes.
The biggest minuses come from nine institutions that include the Institute for Public Health, three clinics, four hospitals and Health Centre (Dom Zdravlja) Zagreb West.
Newly elected head of HDZ, Tomislav Karamarko wins the post by reviving the nationalist rhetoric of the 1990s.
