EU Integration Office head Milan Pajevic has refused to speculate when the EU might open entry talks with Serbia. He stated that if that happened by the end of 2012, that would be an unexpected success, and qualified it as barely realistic.

In recent months increasing number of mortgages are being activated allowing banks sell flats or cars in order to have the credits they granted recovered. Serbia is supposed to pass a law on personal bankruptcy which would envision for people who proclaimed personal bankruptcy to have elementary living conditions.

Predrag Maric, Chief of Interior Ministry Sector for Emergency Situations, has announced that wildfires on Mountain Tara in western Serbia will be localised today. About 800 people are involved in the fire-fighting operations on Tara.
