U.S. secretary of state to visit Serbia in October. Administration enforces complicated procedure for parents to fulfill. Tadic on the party elections.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will arrive here in early October, writes the Belgrade-based daily Danas, quoting "several diplomatic sources".

The Government’s decision that the VAT on baby equipment is returned to parents has become senseless by suggested procedure. In order to get money, parents will have to collect fiscal bills, obtain at least three documents from administration services, pay taxes for those documents and face with slow and complicated administration.

POLITIKA

Boris Tadic, the leader of the Democrats, has once again said he had offered his resignation from the post following the defeat in May elections but the party's presidency refused to accept it. Ahead of the party's elections for the new leadership, Tadic accused his rival Dragan Djilas of turning the DS into a business club.
