Goran Jesic, member of the Democrats' Main Board and also Deputy Prime minister of Vojvodina Government, said that if the party's leader Boris Tadic had offered his resignation, everything would have been different today. After the election assembly, which is due on November 10, Jesic expects complete consolidation of the party regardless of who wins the election.

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and his Croatian counterpart Ivo Josipovic may meet for the first time at a meeting of the Igman Initiative due to take place in Podgorica in November.
