Belgrade’s top officials to propose solution for Kosovo issue. Serbia’s pageant queen went off the radar. Progressives and Socialists coalition is not permanent solution for Serbian government.

Tomislav Nikolic announced that first meeting of Serbian top officials who supposed to discuss Serbian platform for Kosovo issue is scheduled for Friday, October 19. Nikolic said Belgrade will come up with several proposals for Kosovo status that would be acceptable to Serbia.

Miss Yu, company in charged for selecting Serbia’s beauty pageant queen, cannot locate recently elected Miss Serbia, Nikolina Bojic, as she switched off her phone and changed the address. After she was selected to be Miss Serbia on October 7, Bojic was caught up in a scandal as it was published that she is married. According to Miss World contest rules, national beauty pageant queens should not be married, so Bojic might lose her crown.

Daily Danas reports that both Socialists and Progressives are having meetings with Democratic Party officials, in an attempt to find alternative partner for government’s coalition. Daily writes that probes into corruption and division of power in current government are main disputes between Progressives and Socialists that may lead to new elections.
