Ruling Progressives to launch government reshuffle. Drug addiction in rise in Serbia. Diplomats spend budget funds illegally.

Aleksandar Vucic, Deputy Prime Minister and the leader of ruling Progressives, stated that his party will re-examine the work of the ministers and propose government reshuffle by March 15. Vucic also stated that ruling coalition may discuss early elections after the EU delivers its decision whether to grant the date for opening the accession talks with Serbia.

Number of drug addicts in Serbia was about 170,000 in 2012. The average addicted is 31 years old. Most drug addicted used drug for the first time when they were 16, although the number of those who smoke first joint before the age of 15 is in rise.

POLITIKA

Interior Ministry spent €100,000 on new vehicles for Serbian embassies with no public procurement. Serbian embassies in Bratislava and Brussels bought vehicles breaching public procurement procedures. Serbian Cultural Centre in Paris spent about €44,000 paying salaries to extra workers, although they already employed staff for those works.
