Dacic: URS or PM post with Progressives. Mrkonjic: Democrats must speed up talks on govt. International officials start businesses in Kosovo.

The talks on the new government have fallen into crisis as Ivica Dacic, the leader of the Socialists, insist for United Regions of Serbia, URS, to the the third partner with them and the Democrats. If not, he would prefer to be the PM in the government with the Progressives than to form a coalition with the Democrats and the Liberals.

Milutin Mrkonjic, deputy leader of the Socialists, said the parties in the previous ruling coalition could have already formed a new government. He also called on the Democratic Party to speed up the talks.

Following the expiration of their mandates, large number of international officials in Kosovo have established their business in the former Serbian province. The spectrum of their business activities covers telecommunications, construction, crude oil, while some returned as advisors to actual politicians in Pristina.
