The Progressives, the biggest party of the ruling coalition, have decided that early parliamentary elections will be either in April or September this year. The timing depends on development of negotiations with Kosovo and the EU.


Ceremonies to mark Orthodox Christmas at churches and monasteries in Kosovo were shadowed by detentions and protests.


Ethnic Albanians in South Serbia fear violence following the Serbian govt. announcement to remove a memorial to ethnic Albanian fighters in the Presevo Valley breaks international law.
