All military agencies should be in one. Next week cruical for Kosovo talks. Progress in talks depends on Serbia's willingness to abolish parallel institutions in the North.
The idea of uniting the Military Security Agency, VBA, and the Military Intelligence Agency, VOA, into one is not a new one, but people well acquainted with the work of both agencies claim that there was no will for such an idea to be realized mainly because it was not possible to agree who would lead a united service.
Next week will be crucial for Serbia's further EU integration progress given that Hashim Thaci and Ivica Dacic are meeting on Tuesday to discuss the parallel institution in the north of Kosovo while Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic is travelling to Berlin.
Belul Begaj, Head of the European Movement in Kosovo, said that progress in the Belgrade-Pristina talks can only be made if Serbia abolish parallel institutions in the Serb-run North of Kosovo.
