Three troops from the Romanian contigent serving with the NATO-led mission in Afghanistan have been slightly injured in a blast on Sunday morning.

EVENIMENTUL ZILEI
Romania has held an exercise near the border with Serbia, to test the country's response capacity to a possible inflow of refugees. A temporary camp for refugees was also set up in Timis county.

ZIARUL FINANCIAR
Nuclear power producer Nuclearelectrica will ask shareholders on October 22 to approve a memorandum to a Chinese firm to add two more reactors at its plant in Cernavoda.
