Romania's plan to join the eurozone in 2019 is "no longer feasible," according to central bank governor Mugur Isarescu, who added the country is not ready to undertake the required steps in time.

GANDUL
A new train will connect Romanian city of Iasi with Chisinau, Moldova's capital, shortening the journey by an hour and also removing a symbolic barrier between the neighbors.

Romania was up 6 places, from the 59th to the 53rd position, in the economic competitiveness classification annually elaborated by the World Economic Forum, WEF.
