Investigations against journalists, large number of suits against them and growing pressures over the media, are the reason for serious concern, it is warned in the new Enlargement Starategy of the EU. The Startegy for the first time openly states that the rule of law will be the essence of Montenegrin accession into the union.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration rejected Sunday's claims of Miodrag Lekic, first candidate of the Democratic Front, that Prevlaka was handed over from Djukanovic to Sanader, that is from Montenegro to Croatia, by calling them false and malintentioned.
