Basic State Prosecution in Bijelo Polje filed indictment proposal against Filip Vukovic, former mayor of Pleljvlja, because of suspicion that he had commiitted a criminal act by abusing the office and damaging the budget for 3 million euro.

Yesterday, Jasenovo Polje was a centre of the world for the residents of this small village close to Niksic: several thousand people came to see tennis player Novak Djokovic, who visited the birthplace of his ancestors and attended a consecration of a church, whose construction was enabled by the financial help of him and his family.
