The scantily-clad song-and-dance trio won the right to represent their country at the glitzy musical extravaganza with their pounding Euro-pop tune ‘Love is Everywhere’ when they won the Beovizija song contest on Sunday evening.

The three singers, Mirna Radulovic, Nevena Bozovic and Sara Jovanovic, attracted around 26,000 audience votes to secure their place in the first semi-final of Eurovision 2013 in Malmo in Sweden this May.

“Music was always the number one priority for us, the audience recognised that and that is why we won,” said Bozovic.

The trio were previously known from their appearances in the TV talent show ‘First Voice of Serbia’.

As well as a trophy, they took home a cash prize of 5,000 euro for beating competition that included singers Dusan Svilar, Saska Jankovic, Marija Miojalovic and the band Skies.

Serbia’s greatest success in the pop contest came in 2007 when Marija Serifovic won with the country’s first Eurovision entry since independence, which meant that the 2008 competition was held in Belgrade.

Last year Zeljko Joksimovic came third for Serbia in the contest in Baku in Azerbaijan, which was won by Loreen from Sweden.
