Turkish Airlines might become the new Macedonian national air carrier the daily says, writing that the Turkish company TAV, which took over the management of Macedonia’s civil airports this month, is lobbying for it.

Signs that the deal might become reality were seen in comments from the Macedonian civil aeronautic authorities, who said that they would be willing to accept the offer if it indeed was to be made, and if it met international standards.
