DNEVNIK

The government is not being transparent and refuses to reveal its debt towards companies. The debt is probably so big that it could jeopardize the liquidity of all state institutions, local analysts argue, seeing no other reason for hiding the figure.

UTRINSKI VESNIK

Some 500 former workers in bankrupt state-owned companies protested yesterday in front of the government, asking for state pensions. They say they will organise protests every Tuesday until the government decides to fulfill their demands.

VREME

The head of the State Anti-Corruption Commission, Mirjana Dimovska, survived yesterday’s hearing in the Parliament. She could soon be re-elected to the same post for the fourth time, which has never happened before for a holder of this position. Dimovska is accused by opposition parties for turning a blind eye on corruption in state institutions and for conflict of interest.
