DNEVNIK

The Association of Macedonian Journalists has reacted to the most recent statement by President Georgi Ivanov, who accused some journalists of spreading lies that will only help Greece's case at the International Court of Justice, by saying that Ivanov has joined those who separate journalists into patriots and traitors.

UTRINSKI VESNIK

The ruling party has made concessions regarding the new anti smoking law. The amendment filed by the centre right VMRO DPMNE predicts free smoking on open terraces of bars and restaurants from 1 March to 31 October.

VREME

Ethnic Albanian first graders boycotted the introduction of Macedonian language classes. Education Minister Nikola Todorov said he was pleased that the boycott was not radical and massive but did not say how he plans to enforce the government's decision.
