A Macedonian-Italian criminal group has been arrested in Genova, Italy. The group is suspected of planning to rob the home of Jose Mourinho, the coach of the Italian football club Inter, the daily says, citing reports by Italian and Portuguese newspapers.

The pressure on Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski is mounting. He has been called to give an explanation of the political, financial and ethnic implications of the newly unveiled project “Skopje 2014”, which aims to revamp the capital. Gruevski and his centre-right VMRO-DPMNE party are under pressure not only by the entire opposition but also by their coalition partners from the ethnic Albanian Democratic Union for Integration.
