Parties prepare for early elections. Ambassadors urge opposition to end boycott. A1 accounts unfrozen.

All the political parties in Macedonia are preparing for early elections. The opposition  has threatened to boycott any polls if the timing  and process does do not allow all parties a fair chance. The ruling parties argue that a boycott will harm the country on a longer term.

UTRINSKI VESNIK
Foreigners have raised the alarm about  Macedonia's political gridlock, the daily says. Diplomats from the EU countries have started to call more openly on the opposition to end its parliamentary boycott.

VREME
The banks accounts of A1 TV have been unfrozen which allowing the channel to function normally, the daily says. However the threat of closure under  pressure from the government continues.
