The opposition social democrats yesterday criticised the government for scrapping its own provision for state subsidies to parents with more than two children. The subventions were scrapped after the Constitutional Court ruled that this provision should be applied to the entire country and not, as the government intended, just in areas with low birth rates.


UTRINSKI VESNIK

The government project for the revamp of the downtown of the capital Skopje, dubbed “Skopje 2014” will be completed in 2018 according to the government spending plan revealed yesterday by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. The PM said the project would boost industry and provide employment.
