DNEVNIK

The newest government media campaign against the use of drugs is marred with many controversies. Although the videos are intended mainly for children and young people, the state broadcasting network has forbidden airing them before 22.00 because they contain explicit scenes of violence.

UTRINSKI VESNIK

The opposition parties have united in a joint front against the current centre-right government led by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. The block of 12 opposition parties gathered around the main opposition party, the Social Democrats, SDSM.

VREME

Education inspectors have postponed their inspections in elementary schools where they were supposed to check whether the latest government decision for the introduction of Macedonian language classes to first graders from the non-majority communities was being respected. Ethnic Albanian teachers and parents opposed the government's initiative.
