His compatriots in Macedonia say that Xhaferi’s death is a great loss for the politics and the intellectual thinking of Albanians not only in Macedonia. Kosovo’s politician estimated that Xhaferi was one of the greatest Albanian minds of this era, who served as an advocate of the Albanian issue.

Daniel Serwer thinks that the agreements will be reached before Pristina and Belgrade get to the negotiating table for the new round of talks. Marko Prelec from the International Crisis Group says that the two delegations need to get the widest possible support from their respective countries, before they join the talks.

The new US’s ambassador to Kosovo, Tracey Jacobson will deliver today its credentials to the President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga. Jacobson said that she looks forward in strengthening the democracy in Kosovo. Analysts say that no real changes in the reports between the Kosovo politics and the US may occur. Some even claim that the comportment of Ambassador Jacobson will depend on the attitude of the country’s political leaders.
