Kosovo’s draws a special strategy for lobbying in the five EU member state countries that haven’t recognized it yet. Kosovo is like Hong Kong for the EU.

Kosovo authorities plan to send a broad international delegation to Spain, Slovakia, Rumania, Greece and Cyprus to meet with the relevant authorities and explain them why they need to recognize the country’s independence. This delegation is expected to represented by senior statesman of Germany, United Kingdom and France.

Kosovo’s desire to get contractual relationship 27 EU member states, is about to get a green light. The newspaper has obtained a “top secret” from the EU where the Legal Services of EU’s Council has explained that the creating of such a relationship with Kosovo, can me made according to the Hong Kong and Taiwan model, which includes the use of the footnote, meant for those EU countries that haven’t recognized Kosovo.

Last year’s political deal by which the country solved its institutional crisis, is aggravating the relationship between Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa. The requests of LDK’s chairman that Atifete Jahjaga should quiet the office of the President, Thaci says are malice. Kosovo’s Prime Minister says that the decision of the Constitutional Court for the mandate of the country’s President should be respected, as they were in the case of Fatmir Sejdiu and Behgjet Pacolli.
