While the President of the European Council Herman Von Rompuy said that a visible advancement in the report with Kosovo is key for the start of Serbia’s negotiations for membership into the EU, the President of the European Parliament Martin Schultz, was even more precise in underlining the Serbia’s need to recognize Kosovo as an independent state if it wants to integrate into the EU.

Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister Bujar Bukoshi indictment for misuse of the official position, has led to his position be frozen at the government. The Deputy Minister of Finances Astrit Haraqija who’s also indicted, acted the same way. But the first Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci claims to not be informed about such acts that the two former government senior officials position are frozen. Analysts consider the acts as illegal.

Next week, Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and his international partners will start their efforts to unify the political scene of Kosovo, for the forthcoming talks with Belgrade. AAK says that it will be part of such a process, while the LDK too is moving from its position. Sources told the paper that LDK’s President Isa Mustafa is ready to join the boat, in case this is an official request from the Americans.
