Bulatovic was accused of having taken part in a group that allegedly abused a Kosovo Albanian, Xheladin Idrizi, who was found dead in Fushe Kosove/Kosovo Polje, in 1999.

Bulatovic, a Serb from Nis in southern Serbia and a mechanic by profession, often traveled to Kosovo to visit cousins until his August arrest.

Kosovo Police arrested him on a warrant issued by a EULEX prosecutor in 2009, based on statements from neighbours of the victim.

Around 150 Albanians, according to unofficial data, were killed during the war of 1999 in the municipality of Fushe Kosove.

More then 13,000 people were killed during the conflict in Kosovo in 1998-1999. Thirteen years after the war in Kosovo, more than 1,700 people remain missing.

Talk about it!
