Following the meeting with the RECOM advocates from Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia on Tuesday, Josipovic said that he supports the creation of a cross regional team of legal experts who would determine the legal basis of the initiative in each signatory country.
He also urged regional leaders to collaborate to find the missing persons and war crimes perpetrators.
Among the RECOM advocates who met with Croatian President, were the head of Belgrade based NGO, Natasa Kandic, Sarajevo professor Zdravko Grebo and the theatre director Dino Mustafic, Croatian professor Zarko Puhovski and Mario Mazic from Zagreb.
The Coalition for RECOM is a non-political regional network of civil society organizations and individuals.
RECOM is working to create a regional commission tasked with establishing the facts about war crimes and other serious human rights violations committed on the territory of the former Yugoslavia in the period from 1991 to 2001.
