Croatia has to be more aggressive on approaching faraway markets such as China and Japan concerning the tourism sector, the country's tourism minister has suggested.
Croatian Tourism Minister Damir Bajs reportedly met with the high-ranking individuals in the Croatian tourism sector and agreed the strategy for the next tourist season.
The plan is to give grants to airlines to continue merging advertising and to prepare well before the biggest tourism fairs in the world, news website Dnevnik.hr has reported.
"We have to continue to maintain our market share over the European average and to continue growing our pre and post season as well," Tourism Minister Bajs concluded.
