Filming Underway in Bulgaria for “The Expendables 2”
Jean-Claude Van Damme, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis, are among the star-studded cast which will appear in the sequel to The Expendables, currently being filmed in Bulgaria.
According to Novinite (Sofia News Agency), the film has a budget of over $80million and its shooting will take place mainly at the Sofia-based NU Boyana studios.
Hundreds of Bulgarian professionals are employed alongside their foreign colleagues to participate in the shooting process.
In July, NU Boyana studios CEO David Varod told Novinite in an exclusive interview some of the actors signed to perform in the film.
"Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, John Travolta, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke...who else? Of course, Bruce Willis," he told Novinite.
